Student Life

At Indian Springs, athletics is as much about courage on the field as it is excitement on the sidelines.
Competition is where we shine. Whether our students are racing down the court on a fast break or cheering on the game-winning goal, Indian Springs athletics brings together committed players, exceptional coaches, and excited fans.

Springs students, families, and faculty are proud of their school, and their spirit unites our community. Proving that grit trumps team size, our 2014 and 2017 Mens Soccer teams won the Class 3A State Championship. Springs also competes in nine other varsity sports: volleyball, softball, baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, cross country, swimming, and bowling. Student-run club sports provide other great opportunities. We have a fishing club, for instance, and are the only school in Alabama with a fencing club. (Please see our Clubs & Activities page for more info.)

We recognize that our students are multitalented, with a wide variety of passions and interests, so our athletic teams give students the freedom and flexibility to participate in many other activities.

We believe that a well-designed and -directed Athletic Program helps students learn to push their limits and develop confidence, self-discipline, character, and teamwork. These lessons also prepare students to handle many of the challenges they face not only in the classroom but also later in their adult lives, long after they leave Indian Springs.
