Springs Swim Team Shines at Knights Twilight Classic

Springs swimmers Carson DeSocio ’20 and Mia Karle ‘19 each placed 1st or 2nd in all four events that they entered at the Knights Twilight Classic held Sept. 28 at Lifetime Fitness.
 
Competing against swimmers from seven other teams, including Westminster, Mountain Brook, and Briarwood, Karle and DeSocio claimed these top individual spots:

50 Meter Breaststroke - 1st place
200 Meter Freestyle - 2nd place
100 Meter Freestyle - 2nd place

50 Meter Freestyle - 1st place
100 Meter Freestyle - 2nd place
50 Meter Breaststroke - 2nd place
 
Karle and DeSocio will compete next on Oct. 15. Congratulations to both swimmers, and GO SPRINGS!
