Varsity Volleyball Wraps up “Sweet” Season

The Indian Springs Varsity Volleyball Team went undefeated in area play during the regular season earning hosting rights to the area tournament on October 19 for the second year in a row. They defeated Midfield High School and Tarrant High School in three straight sets to claim back-to-back AHSAA Class 3A Area 7 Championships. Kennedy Doyle ’25, Annette Linton ’25, and Beth Scarborough ’24 were named to the All-Tournament Team, while Beth was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.

The team advanced to the South Regionals in Montgomery on October 25, defeating Sumter Central High School that morning and falling to St. Luke's Episcopal School in the round of 16. They finished the season with an overall record of 14-8. This was Indian Springs Volleyball’s first trip to the Sweet Sixteen since 2015.
