Written by Joe Landry in the style of a 1940s radio broadcast, Vintage Hitchcock brings to life spies, murder, love, and other trademarks of master of suspense Alfred Hitchcock. With The Lodger, Sabotage, and The 39 Steps, Vintage Hitchcock is a triple feature, complete with commercials. It recreates a daring train chase, a serial killer’s ominous presence, and a devastating explosion through the magic of live sounds effects and musical underscoring.

For the cast and crew's health and safety, auditions and rehearsals up to one week before the show took place virtually via Zoom. The final rehearsals are being held outside now. The show will take place outside on McLean Lawn in front of Engel Terrace. Boarding students and on-campus faculty are invited to watch the show in person. Blankets, popcorn, hot chocolate, and apple cider will be available.

Faculty members include Director Dane Peterson, Sound Designer Emanual Ellinas, and Choral Composer Dr. Lee Wright. Cris Morriss provides technical assistance.
