During this competition, each student selects one poem from the anthology available from the Poetry Out Loud website, memorize it, and come to Classroom 9 to perform it. It is recommended that the student research the poet, and analyze the poem with support from Mr. Allen or any of the other English teachers. Students please email Mr. Allen no later than October 14 to confirm your participation.
