Sixteen Indian Springs students received honors for their test scores in National Language Exams taken in March 2022. Exams are administered by the American Classical League, which celebrates, supports, and advances the teaching and learning of the Greek and Latin languages, literature, and cultures and their timeless relevance.
The National Greek Exams are a collection of seven examinations consisting of five Attic Greek exams (Introduction, Beginning, Intermediate, Prose, and Tragedy). Two Indian Springs students took the Beginning Attic Exam. Andrew Glassford ’22 was one of 34 students nationwide to achieve a perfect score. Emma Peng ’22 earned a Merit Award.
The National Latin Exams (NLE) are given annually to Latin students across the United States and worldwide. It is not meant to be a competition but rather an opportunity for students to receive reinforcement and recognition for their accomplishments in the classroom.
