Duo Brings College Advising to Birmingham City Schools

Indian Springs Director of College Advising Amelia Johnson teamed up with alum J.W. Carpenter ’97, Director of the Birmingham Education Foundation (Ed), to organize a series of virtual information sessions for students in Birmingham city schools.

The three-part series was aimed at helping students and their families understand the different types of institutions where they could pursue higher education and featured panelists from colleges, universities, and technical schools across the country.

We are proud to celebrate these two members of our community and the work they do to support young people in the greater Birmingham area. Go Springs!
