Indian Springs Math Team Wins Regional Competition

The Indian Springs Math Team won first place in their division at the Vestavia Hills High School Math Tournament on December 7, 2019.

Over 1,000 students, representing fifty middle schools and high schools from across the state of Alabama, participated in the tournament. Indian Springs’ division included all schools with less than 950 students in grades 10 through 12.

Coached by math teacher Jon Gray, the Indian Springs Math Team includes Evan Dunbar '20, Gio Garza '20, Brian He '23, Catherine Kung '22, Cynthia Li '23, Krystal Li '22, Sherry Li '23, Harshil Mehta '22, Labdhi Mehta '20, Yusuf Ozaydin '24, Aeacus Sheng '21, Jack Swanner '21, Steven Tang '21, Walter Wang '24, and Angela Yang '22.
