Support Springs

Your support matters.
Although the school’s financial situation today is solid, the ongoing support of the Indian Springs community is still essential. Not simply to our current health and well-being, but also to our ability to live more deeply into our mission of educational rigor and innovation, and the preparation of adolescents for lives of individual accomplishment and meaningful community and civic participation.

Gifts to Indian Springs are typically made for the purposes listed below.

List of 3 items.

  • Annual Fund

    Tuition has traditionally provided most of Springs’ annual operating income, but by no means all of it. Additional sources of revenue have from summer programs, the endowment, and Springs Today (our name for the Annual Fund). Some of these sources of revenue have been compromised by the COVID pandemic thus a predictable, robust Annual Fund is all the more important to help the school
    • attract and retain excellent faculty members who genuinely care about the lives of their students;
    • continue our distinguished legacy of providing experiential learning opportunities, pedagogical innovations, and classroom enhancements; and
    • offer the financial aid that enables us to assemble a learning community of students with a diversity of backgrounds, talents, and interests.
    In short, unrestricted gifts to Springs Today provide the vital elements that give our educational mission a multiplier effect.
  • Capital Campaign

    Indian Springs is now in the public phase of a new $13.5 million capital campaign to support the construction of the new Kayser-Samford Community Commons. Click here to learn more.
  • Endowment Fund

    A sizable endowment is one indicator of a school’s strength. The greater the interest income from the endowment, the better insulated the institution is from regularly occurring fluctuations in markets; more important, the greater the institution’s ability to create and expand enrollment and summer program initiatives. Unrestricted gifts to endowment enable Springs to direct funds to the areas of greatest need and opportunity.
