Four Students Awarded at Regional Science Fair

Four Indian Springs students received awards at the 2023 Central Alabama Regional Science & Engineering Fair hosted by the UAB Center for Community Outreach Development on Saturday, March 4. 

Cynthia Li ’23 — Second Place, Medicine and Health Science
Project Title: “Evaluation of 3 Non-Invasive Automated BP Devices”

Andy Wu ’24 — Third Place, Mathematics and Computer Science 
Project Title: “Machine Learning Methods: Implementation of the Classification and Diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease”
 
Radyn Moradkhani ’25 — Honorable Mention, Environmental and Earth Science
Project Title: “Fusion or Multi-Satellite Data Through Deep Learning for Flood Forecasting”

Mayu Nakano ’23 — Honorable Mention, Medicine and Health Science
Project Title: “Novel Proteogenomics-Guided Precision Oncology Roadmap Targeting Chemoresistance”
