Soccer Teams Claim State Championship, Numerous Honors

The Indian Springs Boys Soccer Team defeated Russellville 2-0 on May 7 to win the 2021 Class 4A-5A state championship. This is Indian Springs’ fourth state title in boys soccer and the first at the 4A-5A level. Both goals in the final game were scored by Jackson Nabors ’22. Coach Rik Tozzi was named Private/Parochial School Coach of the Year.

Jackson, Riley Alexander '21, and Sims Tosh '22, and Nate Tozzi '22 were named to the All-State First Team. Gus Colvin '23 was named an Honorable Mention. Click here to read more from AL.com.

Additionally, Nate was selected for the Alabama All-Star Game.

The Indian Springs Girls Soccer Team concluded a fantastic season in round three of the playoffs. Coach Justin Pino was named B-Division Co-Coach of the Year.

Norah Roller ’23 was named B-Division Player of the Year with 55 goals and 12 assists. Norah was also named to the All-State First Team and the Shelby All-County Team. Click here to read more from Shelby County Reporter.

Norah and Olivia Honeycutt ’22 were named to the Birmingham All-Metro first team. Virginia Hunt ’21 was named to the second team.
