Yvonne Su '23 Wins Scholastic Awards Gold Medal

Indian Springs sophomore Yvonne Su ’23 has received a Gold Medal in the 2021 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Gold Medals are awarded for “the most outstanding works in the nation” and the winners are recognized at a national ceremony.

In the category of Digital Art, Yvonne’s work is titled “Two Female Robots in a Lab.” Yvonne has been drawing for a little over one year. She describes her style as “cyberpunk,” a sub-genre of science fiction that features science and technology in an urban, dystopian future.
