Seven Seniors Named National Merit Semifinalists

Seven Indian Springs seniors have been named Semifinalists in the 66th Annual National Merit Scholarship Program: Cindy Geng ’21, Carina Lim ’21, Hooper Markert ’21, Steven Tang ’21, Paul Weir ’21, Noah Williams ’21, and Danna Zhang ’21.

2021 Semifinalists were selected based on their achievements on the 2019 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. They represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors and include the highest-scoring entrants in each state. Of the 16,000 Semifinalists, about 15,000 are expected to advance to the Finalist level. Finalists will have the opportunity to compete for some 7,600 scholarships worth more than $31 million.

Congratulations to our 2021 Semifinalists!
