Miao '19 Earns Perfect Score on AP Computer Science Exam

Tenniel Miao ’19 not only received the top score of 5 but was one of 193 students in the world to earn every point possible on the 2018 Advanced Placement Computer Science Exam.

Advanced Placement (AP) Exams are reported on a 5-point scale, where a 5 is equivalent to a grade of A in the corresponding college course. To earn a perfect score, a student must answer every multiple-choice question correctly and earn full points on the free-response section.

Miao is a member of the Indian Springs Programming Team, which claimed first place at the 2019 UAB High School Programming Contest on April 6. He placed third in the individual category.

Congratulations on your accomplishments, Tenniel!
