Students Honored During Awards Day 2018

Indian Springs recognized more than 100 students during Awards Day 2018 for their accomplishments and the notable ways they have distinguished themselves at Springs, in the surrounding community, and far beyond during the 2017–18 school year.

“We have writers and musicians and activists and programmers and good citizens and scientists and aspiring scholars,” said Head of School Dr. Sharon Howell. “I’m so proud of these students who have worked hard and applied their considerable energies to important and worthy pursuits.

“I’m also proud of the ways that their classmates and friends support them, and are supported in turn—they are rooting for one another, understanding how that kindness and show of appreciation comes back to them in so many ways, and builds the foundation for all of us to share in each others’ successes. … Thank you all for helping to honor the individual contributions these students have made to our collective endeavor.”
