Black '18 Honored in Congressional Art Contest

Eliza Black '18 received the Leonardo Da Vinci Award for Most Innovative Artist for her piece "Curiosity Blues" at Alabama's 6th Congressional District Art Competition!

Rep. Gary Palmer, who represents the 6th District, hosted the contest, part of a series of nationwide art competitions sponsored since 1982 by the Congressional Institute. Students from 17 schools competed in the district competition.

Black used copic markers to create her colorful artwork.
