Weslie Wald

Dean of Faculty
Weslie Wald began her Indian Springs career as a Spanish teacher in 2015. She moved onto campus in 2021 and served one year as the Dean of Students for Grades 11-12 before assuming her current role as Dean of Faculty. Weslie earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a master’s degree in Spanish education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Before joining Indian Springs, Weslie enjoyed teaching at area high schools like Spain Park and Mountain Brook, as well as at a primary school in Almeria, Spain. She loves spending time with family, playing music, singing, organizing, and crafting. Weslie’s overarching goal as a teacher is to help students become knowledgeable, responsible, and accepting life-long learners and global citizens. As Dean of Faculty, Weslie is responsible for assisting the Head of School in assembling and developing a superb faculty and serving as a liaison between the faculty and the administration.
