PreACT for Sophomore

Gym - Main - Main
All members of the Sophomore class are scheduled to take the PreACT on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. The PreACT, designed to be administered to students in the 10th grade, provides students with an ACT practice opportunity and is used as an early indicator of progress to help guide student plans for the ACT. All test material has been pre-ordered through the school at a cost of $13 per student.

Testing is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m and end at approximately 12 noon. Students are encouraged to arrive as early as 8:00 a.m. to check in and be seated, however, consideration will be made for those who commute to school by bus. All students should report to the gym for testing unless otherwise notified.

Examinees will need two, #2 pencils, and an "approved" calculator for the math section (refer to ACT website). Comfortable dress, including a sweatshirt or light jacket, is advised, as well as a drink/snack for the "break". For more information regarding the PreACT, visit www.act.org/preact. If you have any questions, contact Cindy Van Horn, Test Coordinator, cvanhorn@indiansprings.org.
