College Advising Event for Juniors/Parents

Main - Theater - Theater
Rescheduled for Thursday, January 31st at 7 p.m. in the Theater from January 16th. Because there are basketball games that night, we will be recording the event to share with students/families who cannot attend and with boarding parents.

Our guests will be Kirk Kluver, Director of Admissions at the University of Iowa, and Tara Nelan, Regional Director of Admissions for Muhlenberg College. After a quick introduction, we'll have a panel-style conversation about trends in admissions, considerations regarding different sizes and types of colleges, and advice for students and parents as they head into the college search. We'll also take time to address your questions. This is a GREAT opportunity to talk to people who know college admissions inside and out!

Since we have had to move the date, this is not a required event, but we do strongly encourage 11th graders and their parents to attend as this will be incredibly helpful information. Please RSVP if you plan to attend (only 1 RSVP needed per family), and feel free to contact Amelia Johnson or Jan Fortson in College Advising with any questions.
