Glassford ’22, Markert ’21 Earn Perfect Scores on the ACT

Indian Springs students Andrew Glassford ’22 and Hooper Markert ’21 scored a perfect 36 on the ACT, placing them in the top 0.334 percent of all test takers.

Andrew is co-head of Indian Springs’ mock trial team and a member of the scholar’s bowl team, varsity baseball team, and men’s varsity bowling team. Outside of Indian Springs, he is a first-grade Sunday school teacher and a member of the Red Mountain Theatre Company Conservatory. He also works part-time for a local software company.

Hooper is the head of Indian Springs’ judiciary group, serves as a student tutor, and is a member of the men’s varsity basketball team, science olympiad team, and multiple clubs. Outside of Indian Springs, he conducts research for a medical laboratory at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is a Senior Patrol Leader for the Boy Scouts.

Hooper was also one of seven Indian Springs seniors to be named a National Merit Semifinalist.
