Springs’ Senior Scholars program allows rising seniors to develop their leadership skills as members of the boarding community.
Formerly known as the Monaghan Scholarship, the Senior Scholars awards are presented annually to rising seniors who are interested in becoming a part of Indian Springs’ residential life community during their final year at Springs. Senior Scholars experience Learning through Living as they live in the residence halls, assist and plan various residential life activities, and gain valuable leadership experience before they go off to college.
Scholarship eligibility is based upon good academic standing, commitment to school and community life, and citizenship and leadership potential. Students who are interested in applying for the Senior Scholars program should submit an essay addressing what their Indian Springs education means to them and how they would like to contribute to the boarding community, as well as a list of their other activities at Springs.
