Volleyball Final Four!

The ISS Varsity Girls Volleyball Team made Indian Springs School history by competing in the Final Four of the Class 3A State Championship!

The team defeated Lexington in the quarterfinals of the state tournament in what Al.com calls a “5-set thriller”! (Click here to read about state tournament highlights.)

Wearing bright pink T-shirts as a show of support, more than 90 ISS students, faculty, and parents attended the Elite Eight and Final Four games at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

The Girls fell late in the day in a tough match against No. 2-ranked Madison Academy.

“Words cannot express how proud I am of this team!” says Head Coach Tiffany Hunter. “For the first time in school history, we made an appearance in the Final Four by defeating a highly favored team! So many goals were met this season, including an awesome 29-game winning streak! Thanks so much to our fans for your support throughout the season!”

Congratulations to the entire team, Coach Hunter, and Assistant Coach Chris Tetzlaff on an outstanding season!
