The 10th Annual Indian Springs Piano Competition will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Indian Springs School, Indian Springs, Alabama. 2. All correspondence and application forms should be sent to: Dr. Alina Voicu Indian Springs Piano Competition 190 Woodward Drive Indian Springs, AL 35124 Application Procedures 1. Applications must be postmarked no later than May 10, 2008. 2. A non-refundable application fee of $20, check payable to Indian Springs School, must accompany each application. 3. A self-addressed stamped envelope must be included with the application. Competition Requirements and Regulations: 1. The Indian Springs Piano Competition is open to pianists in grades 8 through 12. 2. Contestants are required to perform three works of their choice, in contrasting styles, from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic or Twentieth Century periods. The total performing time should not exceed 15 minutes. 3. All works are to be performed from memory. 4. All decisions of the judges will be final.
